Bedroom decor can be a challenge, but it can also be fun. With large items such as a bed or a chest, budget is a major issue, and those on a limited budget may need to purchase one item at a time, gradually enhancing their bedroom with new items.

It's a gorgeous set, decorated in style with crafted rich details and beautifully finished in rich chocolate cherry laminate accentuated with gold airbrush effects. It looks fantastic, as good as solid wood, and priced at under $1500 at the time of writing this post: an excellent deal for a quality bedroom set!
The manufacturers take great pride in their delivery and assembly options, so check these out as well on the Amazon page here.

I love quilts. I think they're the ultimate bedroom decor item. Handmade quilts even more so. They provide a sense of “home” like few other items do. I really like this one, with its simple design of stars and squares - simple and crafted by hand in warm reddish tones. I like how they added the checkered pattern into this quilt. It just screams out “home”, well in a mellow quiet tone

This quilt is gorgeous and very affordable at $49 at the time of writing these lines. With so much work put into it and such a detailed wonderful finish, this is an awesome price for a piece of home decor that can really add a special touch to any room. An awesome gift for winter time and the holidays:

Solid wood is a classic way to create a distinguished opulent look and feel in a room, but not the only way, as this brown chaise lounger proves so well.

The cherry finished legs are beautiful but they are not that dominant in the overall look. What makes this piece of furniture so luxurious is the very shape of the chaise lounger - inviting for a single person to put his or her feet up and relax in peace.
The color is important too, brown as wood, it's both soothing and masculine at the same time, making this lounger a perfect choice for offices and waiting rooms, as well as a more official living room. It could also work well in a more masculine bedroom, but don't be afraid to soften it a little with a nice warm throw, ready to be wrapped around some lucky person's shoulders.
And if you think a lounger is not functional enough, keep in mind that this one hides plenty of storage room there too, right under that seat.

Decorative items can accentuate a room. They don't have to attract the eye and be too obvious, as this small subdued statue shows. Hand carved in cream and beige colors, it can take time and a state of mind to be noticed. Once a moment has been seized, your guests, or yourself can take the time to look and appreciate the sentiments expressed in this work of art.

The personal theme of relationship, listening and companionship makes this into a great gift too. Something that can be put on display on either in the living room or in a bedroom, to remind one of the presence of a good friend at all times.

Mirrors can be a great way to add a feeling of space to any room, yet at times they may take away from the intimacy you may want to have there. One great solution is a screen of mirrors, which you can choose if and when to place at which room. This screen will hide one side, creating privacy, while creating more room elsewhere.

The three panel divider, with its antique style mahogany frame can fit well into any large room that needs the option for temporary separation. It works well in the bedroom, where the mirror side can be useful for creating a nice private dressing area. It can also be used whenever you need to create a more private sleeping space, breaking a larger room into more intimate corners. When no longer in need, this unit is easy to fold up and store away.

When you combine solid wood, graceful classic lines and a cherry finish, you get that distinguished look that is good enough for royalty. This night stand is not an original Louis Phillipe, but it provides a good example of how period furniture, or furniture inspired by them can create the right atmosphere in a bedroom.

Bedrooms are made for relaxation, so the calming effect of this furniture style can be just perfect. It may not be the focus of the room, but it does accent it. Make sure you balance it out with the right fabrics and textures in the room, to avoid a room that is too formal (unless of course it's what your aiming for with your design).
This is the kind of furniture that stands the test of time, both in terms of style and functionality. Quality storage, including a felt lined jewelry drawer, and personal space for you to place your belongings as you go to sleep.

You know those beautifully made beds that you see in home decor magazines? Gorgeous things, with tons and tons of pillows, that just beg you to crawl unto the bed and relax in luxury. Well, you can create the same opulent atmosphere on your own bed, and one thing you absolutely need for that is a pair, or preferably two pairs of white decorative pillows, like this one by Tommy Hilfiger.

You may think, oh this is just another white pillow, but for that specific look you need your pillows to be top quality. This one is 100% pure cotton with delicate ruffled eyelet flange. It's clean look can be easily matched with any bedding set, adding its own crisp cool touch to your bed layout.

This end table features such a typical Hokkaido look, you may be familiar with it from computer games even! Every home design computer game that offers “Asian” as a decor style, usually has these small tables with light coming out of the paper shade. You just can't get more Japanese than this.

The beauty of this piece is that it also conveys a sense of simplicity, that makes it easier to incorporate as an Asian touch in almost any style of decor, particularly more formal styles. A selection of four colors (black, natural pine, honey oak or the cherry rosewood shown here) making it even more compatible with almost any bedroom. The diffused light adds warmth and softens the formality of the squared lattice.

Not everyone is looking for such a formal look for their bedroom, but if you are, a canopy bed like this, in dark wood, is a great choice. Note the overall design in the room, the subdued brown and cream color scheme and the repetition of square elements.

What really makes this majestic bed into the design center point of this room is undoubtedly the canopy. If you're looking into buying this bedroom through the link in the post, please note that the canopy isn't actually sold separately - for the full effect you will need it for sure. This set of elegant bedroom furniture is of selected hardwoods, with moulding and wood grain details, in a Pecan finish. It works well for distinguished and majestic atmosphere, and could be great where you need a more masculine feel for your bedroom or guest room.

What a lovely decorative item this is. The contrast between the solid functionality of the material and the soft curvy shape it has been molded into creates an interesting effect that does indeed please the eye.

These candle holders can add attractive detail to a room, without taking up any floor or shelf space whatsoever. They can match many decor styles, from retro to country, making them a great gift for anyone with a passion for home decor. Note the combination made here, where the round shape of the metal is echoed in the ball-shaped candles, as well as the effect created by placing these alongside each other with a slight difference in height.

Well, I can't think of anything that is more comforting than chocolate - the ultimate comfort food. The good news is that you won't get fat from introducing chocolate shades into your bedroom. What's more, chocolate brown is soothing and relaxing, and can really work well with other shades of brown and mocha.

This set uses dark brown in a slightly different way. The bold rectangles, and the use with actual white (rather than cream) create an interesting contrast, making for a more formal and even masculine feel. If you're looking for that look, formal and more serious, than this bedding set with comforter can be just the thing. The set includes a duvet, two pillow sham, a bed skirt and two throw pillows, so you can dress up the entire bed with it.
